Qualifications

The Role

Duties
Reporting to the Estimating Manager, as the Electrical Estimator, you'll collaborate with on-site engineers, managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure the necessary resources are provided for a wide range of installations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing electrical estimates up to £1.5M in collaboration with the estimating team
• Preparing tenders for electrical installations in partnership with clients
• Ensuring tenders meet high standards
• Obtaining competitive quotations from supply chain while maintaining compliance
• Using electronic packages to carry out estimates
• Building relationships with design consultants, main contractors, and clients

This position is based at our Nantwich office, with occasional site visits.

Our Requirements
Candidates with experience as an Electrical Estimator are preferred, but applications from Trainee Estimators seeking the next step are welcome.

• Knowledge of electrical building services installations
• Experience in mechanical estimating is advantageous
• Ability to read electrical plans and drawings
• Good IT skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail, drive to succeed, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Full UK driving license

Experience with Estim8 Xtreme and CYPHER1 software is a plus.
