Job summary

JDR Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician for a permanent role in Cullompton, Devon. You will join a team of engineers, handle breakdown and preventative maintenance, and support production improvement and site maintenance.

Reporting to the Electrical Manager, you will perform Electrical and Instrumentation tasks across the plant. Training will be provided on specific site equipment, and a weekend rota applies (1 in 4).

Qualifications

• Three phase electrical systems experience required.
• Analog current loops experience
• Hydraulic systems knowledge beneficial.
• Pneumatic systems knowledge beneficial.
• Experience in industrial environments.
• Understanding of PLC and DCS systems desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdown maintenance and urgent electrical issues.
• Carry out preventative maintenance schedules and production improvement programmes.
• Perform day-to-day site maintenance and instrumentation tasks.
• Report to the Electrical Manager and work within a team of engineers.
• Training provided on specific site equipment as needed.

We are looking for a Electrical Engineering Technician

Pay: £40,689.93

Location: Cullompton, Devon

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm Call out and weekend rota (1 in 4)

JDR is recruiting for a Electrical Engineering Technician to work within a manufacturing environment in Cullompton, Devon.

The role:

Will involve working within a team of Engineers and responding to breakdown maintenance, preventative maintenance schedules, production improvement programmes and day to day site maintenance. Reporting to the Electrical Manager, the Electrical Technician will be responsible for completing both Electrical and Instrumentation engineering tasks. Where necessary, training will be given on any specific site equipment.

About you:

As a Electrical Engineering Technician you will have the following skills and experience:

• Three phase electrical systems
• Analog current loops
• Hydraulic systems
• Pneumatic systems
• Industrial environments
• An understanding of PLC and DCS systems is desirable, but not essential.
• Must be able to work individually and as part of a team to achieve the necessary results.
