Job summary

City of Glasgow College is seeking an SVQ Assessor to evaluate Electrical Engineering qualifications on a permanent basis, guiding and supporting learners as they work through National Occupational Standards at Level 3. You will be an experienced engineer with CPD, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage with candidates and employers to drive progression.

A relevant assessor/verifier qualification is desirable or obtainable within six months.

Qualifications

• Experience in assessing against National Occupational Standards at Level 3.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering with CPD.
• Desirable qualification: D32/33 or A1, or willingness to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Assess Electrical Engineering qualifications on a permanent basis.
• Evaluate candidates against National Occupational Standards at Level 3.
• Engage with candidates and employers to support progression.
