Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Lecturer in Electrical Engineering to deliver high-quality teaching to apprentices and learners in Tamworth on an hourly contract. The role requires delivering curriculum content across multiple units and mentoring learners toward their qualifications.

This position involves workplace assessments and supporting progression toward NVQ and apprenticeship standards, with DBS clearance preferred and a rate of £40-£55 per hour Inside IR35.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
• Current or previous industry experience working in Electrical engineering or similar industries.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training) and/or TAQA, A1/D32/D33 preferred, although not essential
• Experience delivering training, lecturing, or assessing apprentices is advantageous
• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
