Job summary

Coventry College is seeking a Lecturer to join the Electrical Engineering team, delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to support learners to reach their full potential.

You will design engaging lessons, align with curriculum standards, and collaborate with colleagues and external partners to ensure an outstanding learning experience in Coventry. DBS checks will be part of safeguarding requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one.
• Level 2-4 in Electrical Engineering or related qualification.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
• Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English.
• Hold a IQA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons meeting curriculum standards and reflecting industry needs.
• Support learners academically and pastorally, providing academic and pastoral guidance.
• Contribute to curriculum development and collaborate with colleagues and external partners.
