Job summary
Coventry College is seeking a proactive Lecturer in Electrical Engineering to design and deliver engaging courses that meet industry standards. You will contribute to curriculum development and provide academic and pastoral support to learners, ensuring an outstanding learning experience.
The role involves working with colleagues and external partners, designing inclusive lessons and tracking student progress across programmes to support achievement and progression.
Qualifications
- Hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one.
- Hold a minimum Level 2-4 in Electrical Engineering or related qualification.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English.
- Hold an IQA or equivalent.
- Experience of working in an Electrical Engineering environment.
- Evidence of effective tracking and monitoring of a wide range of students on a range of different programmes.
- Experience of teaching manufacturing engineering to a range of learners.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that meet curriculum standards and reflect industry needs.
