Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking an Engineering Lead – Electrical in Coventry. You will provide senior technical leadership across a large healthcare estate, owning critical electrical infrastructure and ensuring safety, reliability and compliance for 24/7 hospital operations.

The role combines hands-on fault resolution with strategic engineering leadership, mentoring colleagues and driving continuous improvement while collaborating with engineers, contractors and senior stakeholders to maintain high

Qualifications

Senior electrical engineering experience in leadership or specialist roles.
HV and LV distribution systems knowledge and hands-on experience.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification and related electrical safety qualifications.
Experience with critical power infrastructure in healthcare estates.

Responsibilities

Act as the senior electrical technical specialist across a complex healthcare estate.
Lead diagnosis and resolution of complex electrical faults affecting essential building services.
Provide expertise across HV/LV distribution networks ensuring safe, reliable operation.
Oversee standby generators, UPS systems and critical power supplies for resilience.
Undertake Authorised Person duties and ensure safe systems of work and compliance.
Support electrical lifecycle projects and asset replacement programmes across the estate.
Provide leadership, mentoring and knowledge sharing to engineers and contractors.
Engage with stakeholders, Authorising Engineers and contractors to maintain service delivery.
