Job summary

Elb Recruit is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to help establish and grow a new Manchester office. The role focuses on technical leadership, project delivery and developing client relationships across rail, infrastructure and buildings.

The successful candidate will oversee design, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor engineers and support bids and regional business growth, with Chartered status or progression towards it being highly regarded.

Qualifications

BEng or MEng in Electrical Engineering, chartered status preferred.
10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
Experience in rail and multidisciplinary project delivery.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Experience BIM environment.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical engineering design across rail and building sectors.
Review designs, calculations, reports and drawings.
Manage project delivery, budgets and client expectations.
Develop client relationships and support bids and business development.
Mentor junior engineers and lead regional team.
Coordinate with other disciplines and ensure quality and compliance.
Travel as required, including occasional out-of-hours work in rail environments.
