DN Colleges Group is seeking a Lecturer- Electrical Engineering to deliver high-quality teaching and learning, helping students develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to succeed in their chosen careers.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator or an industry professional moving into teaching, with a key role in providing an engaging learning experience and contributing to curriculum development.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications and/or substantial industry experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge within the Electrical Engineering sector.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage, motivate and support learners from a range of backgrounds.
• Commitment to maintaining professional standards and continuous professional development.
• A willingness to work towards and achieve a recognised teaching qualification if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment in Electrical Engineering.
• Plan and prepare engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements and learner needs.
• Support, motivate and monitor student progress and achievement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and assessment outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement activities.
• Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Participate in course reviews, team meetings and professional development activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to enhance the student experience.
