Who are we?

We uphold the highest standards of safety across all disciplines. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Water Recycling West team and support our increased workload.

What will you be doing as our new Electrical Engineer?

You will provide electrical engineering technical input to Water Recycling projects within the Anglian Water region.

Key responsibilities:

1. Design and specify LV electrical installations and distribution systems, including specifications, schedules, data sheets, and drawings.
2. Design and specify LV assemblies such as MCCs, LV Switchboards, and Control Panels, including specifications, schedules, data sheets, and drawings.
3. Review LV electrical designs produced by contractors, including schematics, cable calculations, and termination diagrams.
4. Liaise with technical teams, construction, operations, suppliers, and utility companies on technical issues.
5. Specify and select instrumentation based on process design.

Skills, experience, and behaviours we are looking for:

Demonstrable experience as an Electrical Design Engineer with a strong electrical engineering background. Experience in the water industry is advantageous. Willingness to undertake site visits, for which a full UK driving license is required.
