Job Description

Are you ready to shape the future of water infrastructure? We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our expanding Water Solutions team to support major water infrastructure projects across the UK. You will design and deliver projects ranging from small rural upgrades to complex, multi-million-pound schemes, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.

Key Programmes You'll Support

• South West Water & Wessex Water (£8bn AMP8 & AMP9): Design and consultancy services for water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Severn Trent Water (£14.9bn AMP8): Large-scale projects including major infrastructure and wastewater schemes.
• Southern Water (£3.7bn Capital Delivery): Delivery of water and wastewater projects through various frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical and ICA elements for water infrastructure projects, from conception to handover.
• Produce technical reports, calculations, and drawings adhering to standards.
• Conduct site surveys and data collection.
• Assist in project budgeting and scheduling.

Qualifications

• BEng or MEng in engineering, with experience in water/wastewater design preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and confidently present deliverables to clients.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Working towards Chartership with a relevant professional body.
