Job summary
Hoare Lea, a human-centric and planet-conscious engineering consultancy, is seeking an Electrical Engineer or Senior Engineer to deliver high quality, sustainable electrical design across multiple projects in the built environment. You will join the Electrical team based in Bournemouth or Reading and lead defined elements or full schemes depending on your seniority.
You will work with multidisciplinary teams, produce calculations and drawings, coordinate with other disciplines, and support
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical/Building Services Engineering or equivalent, with membership preferred.
- Experience delivering electrical design from inception to completion in built environment projects.
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary design and liaise with clients/contractors.
Responsibilities
- Take briefs and deliver electrical design work from inception through to completion.
- Produce electrical calculations, drawings and documentation to meet regulations and client standards.
- Coordinate electrical design with other disciplines and third-party consultants.
- Review contractor submissions and witness testing/commissioning activities as required.
- Lead defined elements or full schemes depending on seniority and mentor junior staff.
