Thames Water is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Senior Authorised Person) to provide HV/LV electrical technical support across water and waste processes. This field-based role spans multiple sites in the Thames Valley, with base locations including Basingstoke and nearby sites.
You will lead SAP duties, issue Permits to Work, supervise contractors, review RAMS, and mentor team members. A driving licence is essential and appropriate safety training (BS7671, Thames Water rules) is required.
We currently have a great opportunity to join our team in the Home Counties Thames Valley Area as an Electrical Engineer to provide important High Voltage (HV) Electrical technical support. Due to the nature of this role, you can be based at a number of our sites depending on your location.
As the successful candidate, your role will be to provide technical support across the water and waste processes, to the operations and maintenance functions on the practical aspects of electrical power distribution and utilisation.
This field-based role will involve working to tight schedules, overseeing operational maintenance, repairs and performing SAP duties in issuing High Voltage and Low Voltage Permits to Work.

Base Location: Due to the nature of this role, you can be based at a number of our sites depending on your location. Including: Basingstoke STW - RG24 8LL, Mogden STW - TW7 7LW, Oxford STW - OX4 4XU
Working Pattern: 36 Hours per week, Monday - Friday plus Standby rota
Car Allowance: all PPE and tools are provided.
