The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in renewable energy, and proficiency with CAD and energy management tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical engineering with a focus on renewable energy.
• Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools for solar and energy storage.
• Strong understanding of grid integration, power electronics and energy management systems.
• Knowledge of standards and regulations for renewable energy installations.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for renewable energy projects including PV arrays, storage, and grid connections.
• Perform load analysis, system sizing and energy production estimations.
• Develop electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and wiring schedules using CAD tools.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and stakeholders on project execution.
• Conduct site inspections and support commissioning of new installations.
• Research and evaluate new technologies to improve system performance and cost-effectiveness.
