Job summary

Kemp Eko Talent Ltd is partnering with a leading renewable energy innovator to recruit an Electrical Engineer - Renewable Energy for field service across sites. The role requires an electrically biased engineer with experience in renewable energy, solar, and manufacturing sectors.

You will fault-find, install and test electrical systems, program PLCs, maintain conveyors, pumps, motors and valves, and follow a preventive maintenance schedule. Overtime, travel, and a company van are provided.

Qualifications

• Engineering/technical background with an electrical bias in Renewable Energy.
• Experience in solar, manufacturing or FMCG environments is preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work across sites with on-site installations.

Responsibilities

• Electrical fault finding, installation and testing on site.
• PLC fault finding and programming to keep systems running.
• Maintain equipment such as conveyors, pumps, motors, robotics, gearboxes and valves.
• Install machinery on site and ensure proper operation of plant equipment.
• Follow a preventative maintenance schedule and record follow-ups.
• Maintain daily housekeeping and drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.

Electrical Biased Experience Required

We have partnered with a leading innovator in various different renewable energy systems, who due to continued success are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer.

Successful candidates will have an engineering / technical background, Electrically biased within - Renewable Energy, Solar, Manufacturing, FMCG, Food Processing, Packaging, Recycling etc.

The main responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer will include.

• Electrical fault finding, installation and testing
• PLC Fault Finding and programming
• Ensuring plant equipment functioning in the correct manner
• Maintaining all equipment on site, such as conveyors, pumps, motors, robotics, gearboxes, and valves.
• Installation of machinery onsite.
• Maintaining all mechanical and electrical process equipment.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Following a PPM schedule and recording follow up work.
• Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis.
• Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety.
