Job summary

Kingston Barnes Ltd is looking for an Electrically biased Maintenance/Service Engineer to undertake pre-planned maintenance across all company machinery. You will work in fast-paced environments with a mix of workshop duties in Wirral and field service across the UK and Ireland.

Role requires experience with installs, commissioning and field maintenance of FMCG plant. You must be eligible to work in the UK, hold a recognised engineering qualification and a clean driving license; stay-away when

• Electrical or multi-skilled background is required.
• Field Service experience is required.
• Experience with high-speed FMCG machinery.
• Recognised engineering qualification.
• Willing to stay away when required; clean driving license.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-planned maintenance across company machinery.
• Install, commission and service plant equipment UK and Ireland.
• Work across workshop and field environments; travel away when required.
• Company provides fuel, transport and an allowance for meals/food.

Electrical Field Service Engineer

Are you an Electrically Biased Maintenance or Service Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity where no two days are the same?

Do you have experience with installs, commissioning and field maintenance of food manufacturing or packaging systems?

The Role:

The role will require an Electrically biased Engineer to undergo pre-planned maintenance across all company machinery. You will be working within fast-paced environments so the ability to work under pressure is key. The role will be a mixture of working in the workshop in Wirral, installation, commissioning and field maintenance of plant machinery across the UK and Ireland. All stay away, fuel, and transport is provided alongside an allowance for food.

The Requirements:

• Electrical or multi-skilled background
• Field Service experience
• High-speed FMCG machinery experience
• Recognised Engineering Qualification
• PLC Understanding (Ideally fault-finding ability) Siemens TIA is desirable
• Clean license
• Happy to stay away when required
• Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position
