Job summary

A leading engineering and professional services firm is seeking a candidate for multi-disciplinary Rail projects, focusing on energy-efficient and sustainable Electrical designs. You will collaborate with a skilled MEP team and industry experts, ensuring project milestones are met while contributing to impactful projects like HS2. Ideal applicants should have electrical building services experience in Rail, problem-solving skills, and preferably Chartered Engineer status. Qualifications

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills in complex projects.
  • Experience in electrical systems specifically for Rail or similar projects.
  • Chartered Engineer status is preferred.
  • Electrical building services experience in rail or similar projects.

Responsibilities

  • Work on multi-disciplinary Infrastructure/Rail projects.
  • Ensure project milestones are met.
  • Collaborate with industry-leading Contractors on final Testing and Handover.
  • Support projects through all stages from design to testing and handover.
  • Engage with HS2, Network Rail and LU clients and ensure milestones are met.

A Little More About Your Role…
  • Working on multi-disciplinary Infrastructure / Rail projects
  • Opportunity to contribute and develop energy efficient and sustainable Electrical design
  • Opportunity to work with industry expert colleagues on various projects
  • Opportunity to works on all size and stages of the projects
  • Working on Rail projects mainly with HS2, Networkrail and LU clients
  • Working as part of the MEP team whcih consists of 70 team members of all levels
  • Working as part of a very professional and supportive team.
  • Ensure project milestones are met.
  • Problem solving and working in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Work with industry leading Contractors on Detail design and take the project to final Testing, Commissioning and Handover phase.
  • This role report to Technical Director – MEP
