Contract: Permanent, Full-time, 40 hours per week
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
We are excited to welcome an experienced Electrician to our expanding Engineering family as a Mobile Electrical Engineer. This role offers a variety of tasks and challenges, ensuring that no two days are the same.
As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for upgrading and installing electrical systems, performing maintenance work, inspections, and fault-finding across a portfolio of clients within the local government and education sectors. You will keep clients informed of any developments and record all activities, including remedial works and inspection logs, while ensuring a high level of customer service. Additionally, you will conduct safety assessments, ensure compliance with safety regulations, provide technical support and training to junior staff, manage inventory and order supplies as needed, and collaborate with other engineers and departments on large-scale projects.
To be successful in this role, you should have strong verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable using IT systems to record tasks and updates. You must hold Level 3 City and Guilds 2391 or an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Maintenance Installation, along with 18th Edition wiring regulations. A minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience and a strong understanding of statutory compliance in building services engineering are required. You must also hold a valid driving licence and provide consent to undergo an enhanced DBS check prior to employment. The ideal candidate will have experience in facilities management, mobile maintenance, or construction, with project work within a specific region.
