Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing consultancy. You will lead electrical design and delivery for high-profile MEP projects, mentoring junior engineers and maintaining strong client relationships.

You should be a Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership, with proficiency in Amtech and AutoCAD, and a collaborative approach to meet budgets, timelines and quality across diverse building types.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in engineering (BSc/BEng, HND or HNC).
• Significant experience delivering complex MEP design projects across building types.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards and best practice.
• Proficiency in Amtech and AutoCAD or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design and delivery of complex MEP projects across sectors.
• Produce technical designs, calculations, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure designs comply with legislation, standards and best practice.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Manage programmes, budgets, resources and change control.
• Mentor junior engineers and graduates.
• Attend client meetings and present solutions to diverse audiences.
• Support business development and maintain client relationships.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget and to high quality standards.
