JAB Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a specialist engineering team based in Westhill, near Aberdeen. You will provide electrical and electronic design input for new and existing products, delivering robust solutions and through-life support.

Responsibilities include performing design calculations, producing detailed drawings, and ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements.

Competenze

• Proven electrical design experience.
• Ability to produce engineering design calculations.
• Competence using CAD and other engineering design software.
• Sound knowledge of relevant electrical design standards.
• Experience using Product Lifecycle Management systems to create and maintain engineering packages.
• Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree or equivalent industry experience.
• A minimum of three years’ experience within a graduate engineering role.
• Previous product-design experience, particularly involving DC systems, would be advantageous.
• Experience working to marine or defence standards and classification society requirements, particularly LR and DNV, would be highly beneficial.

JAB Recruitment is currently sourcing on behalf of our client for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a specialist engineering team based in Westhill.

The successful candidate will provide electrical and electronic engineering design solutions and through-life technical support across a technically advanced product portfolio. The workload will include new product development, responding to client and internal technical requirements, and supporting upgrades or modifications to existing equipment in the field.
