Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer (LV/Auto) in Glasgow. You will diagnose and repair electrical issues in vehicles, undertake installs, PPM and reactive maintenance, and work with aftermarket products, dash cams and sensor systems.

Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with overtime and a company van and fuel card. The role suits an Electrical Engineer with a low voltage background or an auto electrician looking to advance in a specialist automotive

Are you an electrical engineer who has worked on low voltage systems looking for an opportunity to join an industry leading company that provides great training, extensive overtime opportunities and offers an enhanced holiday package?

This leading company provide a range of parts, safety equipment and other key automotive components for a diverse client base ranging from local authorities to haulage companies and major waste providers such as Biffa. Due to an ever-increasing workload they are looking to grow their UK team.

In this varied role you will undertake a range of installation of new products and some PPM and reactive maintenance as you work both within the workshop and at clients sites in and around Glasgow/Edinburgh and the UK. You will work within the tight-knit team on site in a role offering ongoing training and overtime to increase your earnings.

This role would suit an Electrical Engineer with a background on low voltage systems or as an Auto Electrician looking to further their career in a permanent role within a specialist automotive company who offer the opportunity to increase your earnings through a bonus and overtime opportunities

The Role:

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues in vehicles.
• Undertake installs, PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Install and maintain aftermarket products, dash cams, sensor systems etc.
• Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, + 1.5 Overtime, 2x's on Sunday.
• Van + Fuel Card.

The Person:

• Electrical Engineer with a low voltage background or an auto electrician.
• Full Driving Licence - happy to travel.
• Commutable to Glasgow.
• Happy to stayaway and travel Nationally.
