Job summary

SRG is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support life science projects and deliver electrical design, power distribution, and installation across multiple systems. The role requires leadership across electrical disciplines and hands-on collaboration with engineering teams on site in major UK locations.

The candidate will review and produce SLDs, cable schedules, and specifications while ensuring compliance with GMP and IEC/BS EN standards. 6-month contract with Outside IR35, ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or life sciences projects.
• Extensive knowledge of LV/HV power distribution, switchgear, and electrical installation design.
• Experience with hazardous area classification and equipment specification (ATEX/DSEAR).
• Ability to produce and review engineering documentation including single line diagrams, cable schedules, and specifications.
• Understanding of GMP and relevant IEC/BS EN electrical standards.
