Job summary

SRG is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support delivery of systems across life science projects. The role provides technical leadership across electrical design, power distribution and installation while assisting engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.

Candidates should have experience in pharma/biopharma, LV/HV distribution, ATEX/DSEAR, GMP knowledge and the ability to produce single line diagrams and cable schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience on life science projects (pharma/biopharma).
• Strong knowledge of LV/HV power distribution, switchgear and installation design.
• Experience with hazardous area classification (ATEX/DSEAR).
• Ability to produce and review single line diagrams, cable schedules and specs.
• Understanding of GMP and IEC/BS EN electrical standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across electrical design, power distribution and installation.
• Support engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of complex life science projects.
• Produce engineering documentation and ensure compliance with standards.

Requirements

• Experience within pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or life sciences projects.
• Extensive knowledge of LV/HV power distribution, switchgear, and electrical installation design.
• Experience with hazardous area classification and equipment specification (ATEX/DSEAR).
• Ability to produce and review engineering documentation including single line diagrams, cable schedules, and specifications.
• Understanding of GMP and relevant IEC/BS EN electrical standards.
