Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Engineer for an industrial manufacturing site in Scotland. The role focuses on maintenance of electrical systems across a large smelter, with responsibilities spanning transformers, switchgear and protection relays, in a heavy industry setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Background in an industrial environment.
• Willingness to relocate to the Scottish Highlands.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical expertise for site electrical systems and infrastructure.
• Support electrical reliability, maintenance and asset improvement projects.
• Working on transformers, switchgear, protection relays, motors, VSDs, substations and industrial power systems.
• Support plant breakdowns and shutdowns.

Education
