Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a heavy industrial manufacturer in the Greater Morecambe area. You will maintain production machinery and plant through planned and reactive maintenance, performing electrical fault finding and installations.

This hands-on role requires teamwork, strong electrical skills, and a focus on safety and continuous improvement. Expect a continental 12‑hour shift, salary up to £45,000, and 25 days annual leave.

Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established heavy industrial manufacturing business in the Greater Morecambe area. Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of production machinery and ancillary plant through planned and reactive maintenance, helping to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.This is a varied, hands‑on role where you'll carry out electrical fault finding, maintenance and installations, supporting continuous improvement initiatives across a busy manufacturing environment. You'll work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently while maintaining high engineering standards.
