Job summary

TAIT in the United Kingdom is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to help design, develop and maintain electrical systems for live-event projects. You will collaborate with senior engineers to create schematics, troubleshoot issues, and test safety-critical components while growing technically within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include designing control systems, performing analyses, and producing BOMs and fabrication drawings.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of electrical engineering principles.
• Experience with CAD design and industrial control panels.
• Ability to design control systems that meet client specs.

Responsibilities

• Design control systems meeting client specifications for portable and fixed installations.
• Analyze electrical loads, component layout, and functional safety.
• Prepare Bills of Materials and assist procurement of parts and services.
• Create finished electrical assemblies and fabrication drawings; contribute to manuals and client submittals.
