Job summary

TAIT is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead design teams and manage multiple projector-related projects. You will guide the technical vision, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with production on drawings and BOMs.

You will drive engineering excellence, mentor staff, and stay abreast of cutting-edge technology to keep TAIT at the forefront of live experiences worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design (typically Engineering) or equivalent.
• Proficient in 3D CAD; AutoCAD and Inventor desirable.
• Committed to CPD and active in industry seminars and events.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers to execute design phases across multiple projects.
• Maintain safety and quality processes while seeking improvements.
• Assess state-of-the-art technologies and market opportunities to bolster TAIT’s position.
• Own project scopes, budgets and schedules; lead design reviews and release production drawings.
• Provide feedback, mentorship and onboarding support to staff and colleagues.
