Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an Electrical Engineer for building services projects in Bristol or Cardiff. You will deliver electrical designs from concept to handover, including LV distribution, lighting, and standby power, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Senior candidates will lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and engage with clients. A degree in Electrical Engineering and progress towards IEng/CEng are preferred, with strong software skills in Revit, AutoCAD and Dialux.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Progress toward IEng/CEng status preferred.
• Experience delivering electrical building services designs in built environment.

Responsibilities

• Producing electrical designs, calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Designing LV distribution, lighting, earthing and standby power systems.
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and attending meetings.
• Reviewing submissions and supporting testing, commissioning and handover.
• Mentoring junior engineers and ensuring quality and programme adherence.
