Job summary

Media Stream AI Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to own the electrical infrastructure from grid intake through HV/LV distribution to rack power at our Scottish data centre.

You will act as HV/LV Authorised Person, ensure 18th Edition compliance, and coordinate with the data centre team and electrical contractor. Applicants must have HV Authorised Person status, 18th Edition, data-centre power experience and UPS/generator knowledge; salary £54k–£62k per year.

• HV Authorised Person status required.
• 18th Edition wiring regulations knowledge required.
• Data-centre power experience required.
• UPS and generator systems knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical infrastructure from grid intake through HV/LV distribution to rack power.
• Act as Authorised Person for HV/LV switching.
• Maintain switchgear, transformers, UPS, busbar and PDUs.
• Liaise with the data centre operations and external electrical contractor.
