Job summary

Frontline Recruitment Group is recruiting Electrical Engineers for a Derby site to maintain high-speed packaging and production lines, ensuring quality and efficiency. This hands-on role involves troubleshooting, planned and reactive maintenance, and ownership of safety and performance.

You will drive root-cause analysis, CMMS logging, and continuous improvement while contributing to audits and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Trained to Electrical minimum craft level; ONC/HND preferred (17th Edition).
• 17th edition qualification advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support lines to operate at maximum efficiency and meet production plans.
• Lead breakdown engineering and deliver right-first-time repairs.
• Define, plan and execute maintenance tasks with handovers.
• Root cause analysis and preventive solutions to reduce downtime.
• Log maintenance into the CMMS system.
• Drive continuous improvement of equipment performance.
• Ensure safety, hygiene and quality standards.
• Support R&M budget targets.
• Take ownership of training plans and team development.
• Participate in audits and regulatory compliance.
