Job summary
Smart 1 Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a well-established air handling units manufacturer in Bromsgrove. The role is a permanent contract based onsite, with a company vehicle and phone provided, and travel to sites across the country.
You will install and refurbish AHU systems, wiring, motors, EC fans and VSDs, and ensure safe operation with BMS interfaces. A full UK driving licence and willingness to stay away 2–3 days per week are essential; overtime
Qualifications
- Experience as Electrician or Electrical Engineer
- 18th edition wiring regs (desirable)
- AHU/BMS/HVAC controls experience
- Ability to read electrical drawings
- UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide
Responsibilities
- Execute electrical wiring plans for AHU refurbishments
- Connect and test motors, EC fans and VSDs
- Work with control wiring and BMS interfaces
- Troubleshoot faults and perform repairs
- Record test results and site documentation
- Maintain health and safety and safe isolation procedures
- Travel and stay-away responsibilities as required
