Job summary

Mitie is seeking an Electrical Engineer to deliver high service standards across client sites, completing safety checks, planned maintenance, and reactive repairs.

You will maintain records, adhere to health and safety regulations, and support preventative maintenance programs. A valid UK driving license and City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 are required. This role suits candidates with facilities or mobile maintenance experience and IT-literate skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 2/3 City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
• 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• IT literate with strong customer service.
• Experience in facilities or mobile maintenance (construction sector preferred).

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical safety checks, PAT testing, and reactive repairs.
• Deliver planned maintenance across client sites.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and statutory building regulations.
• Maintain accurate records using IT systems.
• Support preventative maintenance programmes through inspections and monitoring.
