Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or service sector.
• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Eligible for MOD and DBS clearance.
• Valid UK driving licence is essential.
• Eligible for MOD and DBS clearance (must have lived in the UK for 3+ years).
• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations are preferred.
• IOSH or equivalent H&S qualification.
• Experience in MOD environments is advantageous.

Overview

Mitie is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our maintenance team. You’ll carry out electrical repairs, installations, and planned maintenance across a diverse client base, ensuring safety and compliance with Health & Safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance, safety checks, and PAT testing
• Complete planned and reactive tasks efficiently and on schedule
• Maintain accurate records and inspection logs
• Deliver excellent customer service and liaise with clients
• Support team members and assist with minor new works when required

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Level 2/3 City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• Experience in facilities management or service sector
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Valid UK driving licence
• Eligible for MOD and DBS clearance (must have lived in the UK for 3+ years)
• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
