Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a leading data centre delivery team on a major project in Blyth, Northumberland. The role offers exposure to mission-critical facility development and progression in a market-leading sector.

You will supervise electrical installations, coordinate with multidiscipline teams, and contribute to testing and commissioning. Minimum 3 years’ experience in power/lighting and a relevant degree are required, with CSCS or equivalent safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in power and lighting installations.
• Degree or qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Data centre or mission-critical experience preferred.
• Good technical knowledge of LV distribution and containment.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.
• Valid CSCS card or equivalent site safety training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installation works including power and lighting
• Monitor subcontractor progress, quality and safety on site
• Review drawings and technical submittals
• Carry out inspections and support testing and commissioning
• Coordinate with mechanical, CSA and commissioning teams
• Maintain accurate site records and progress reports
