Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a leading data centre delivery team on a major new data centre project in Blyth, Northumberland. This role offers the chance to develop your career on a mission-critical facility.

You will supervise electrical installation works, review drawings, coordinate with commissioning teams, and maintain site records. A degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of power/lighting experience, plus a CSCS card, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in power and lighting installations.
• Degree or qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Data centre or mission-critical experience preferred.
• Good technical knowledge of LV distribution and containment.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.
• Valid CSCS card or equivalent site safety training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installation works including power and lighting.
• Monitor subcontractor progress, quality and safety on site.
• Review drawings and technical submittals.
• Carry out inspections and support testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate with mechanical, CSA and commissioning teams.
• Maintain accurate site records and progress reports.
