Static Maintenance Electrician
Salary: Up to £38,000
Job Type: Perm
Location: Cheltenham

We are currently seeking an Electrician to carry out electrical tasks across planned preventative maintenance, projects, reactive and breakdown works across all electrical systems within the office facility at Chelthenham.

Role Responsibilities

• Installation and/or removal of electrical wiring, circuits, fixtures, and equipment according to electrical codes and regulations.
• Ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to always ensure safe working practises.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults, replacing faulty components and/or wiring.
• Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure they meet safety standards and regulations.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant building regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections, tests, and repairs.
• All reactive tasks throughout the building are completed, being proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
• Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractor works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance/fixes, keeping them honest. Ensuring permits and RAMS are adhered to.
• Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment is met, including the wearing of uniform and appropriate PPE always.
• Undertake other tasks directed by the account management team.

Skills

• Formal electrical qualification, BS7671 18th edition regulations (amendment 3) and City and guilds 2391 test and inspection
• Able to multitask and prioritise workload.
• Physically fit and able to carry tools and components by hand up to 20kg.
• Able to work at heights.
• Log 4 x constructive and positive observations,
