Job summary

Owen Daniels in Camberley, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their Projects Team. You will deliver electrical and automation solutions across a portfolio of projects, supporting the full project lifecycle from design and procurement through to commissioning and customer support.

This is a permanent opportunity with a Monday to Friday schedule and flexible start/finish times.

Qualifications

HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience delivering electrical projects in industrial/manufacturing environments.
Good understanding of electrical schematics, UK electrical standards and instrumentation.
Confident communicator and capable of being customer/supplier facing.
Experience working with control systems/control panels.

Responsibilities

Be the subject matter expert for all electrical aspects of multiple engineering projects, ensuring delivery to agreed timescales, specifications and budgets.
Review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and project documentation, including control philosophies and equipment schedules working closely with the suppliers.
Specify and procure control panels, instrumentation and electrical equipment while managing supplier performance.
Support factory acceptance testing (FAT), commissioning, troubleshooting and site activities across customer and supplier locations.
Work closely with project managers, sales teams and subcontractors on quotations/bid/costings.
