Shift: 7pm to 7am, 4 days on, 4 days off

Job Overview

Gü is expanding its site with an additional production line and seeks an Engineer for the night shift team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will ensure the smooth operation of the factory by resolving mechanical and electrical breakdowns, performing maintenance, and implementing improvements related to machinery, hygiene, quality, and performance. Safety is a top priority for all engineering activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance across the factory, in both low care and high care environments.
• Assist in testing, installing, and commissioning new equipment.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Reduce plant downtime through effective repairs.
• Carry out repairs during production, either independently or as part of a team.
• Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) proactively.
• Achieve plant uptime and maintenance KPIs through preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Implement machinery and site improvements, managing engineering time effectively to minimize downtime.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ engineering experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• NVQ Level 3 or higher in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Recognized apprenticeship in an engineering discipline.
