As we expand, we are looking for a skilled Electrical Test Engineer to join our team and support ongoing and upcoming projects.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to carry out inspection, testing, and certification of electrical installations across various sites. The role involves working independently and as part of a team to ensure installations are safe, compliant, and meet BS 7671 standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing and inspection in accordance with the 18th Edition wiring regulations.
• Produce Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and Minor Works/Installation Certificates.
• Diagnose and rectify faults on existing installations.
• Liaise with supervisors to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with NICEIC or NAPIT standards.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 (Testing & Inspection).
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Valid ECS card.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in testing and inspecting.
• Strong understanding of health & safety practices.
• Experience in commercial fit-out or facilities maintenance.
• PASMA/IPAF certifications.
• Familiarity with NICEIC or NAPIT certification software.
