About the Role

• Location: Stockport, Manchester
• Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours, 07:00-15:00 or 08:00-16:00

What will I be doing as an Electrical Engineer (Multi-skilled Engineer)?

• Lead electrical tasks and support mechanical issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for plant machinery.
• Resolve reactive breakdowns involving mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance.
• Participate in planned annual shutdowns.
• Travel to other sites in the area as needed, including installation work.
• Mentor and support apprentices in their development.

What are the requirements?

• NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance of industrial machinery, including conveyors, motors, VSD/VFD, Estop circuits, and domestic installations.
• Ability to read schematic drawings.
