Job summary

Build Recruitment is representing a facilities management provider recruiting an Electrical Engineer to cover commercial sites in Reading and surrounding areas.

The role involves planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across electrical systems, ensuring safety, compliance and uptime. A City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent), 18th Edition Regulations, and a full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent) required.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations required.
• Proven experience in a commercial or facilities management environment.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, distribution boards, lighting, and small power
• Fault finding and diagnostics across a range of building services equipment
• Completing statutory compliance testing and inspections
• Logging works via the CAFM system and maintaining accurate records
• Liaising with site teams and building occupiers to deliver a high standard of service

Electrical Engineer - Reading

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading facilities management provider for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team covering commercial sites in Reading and the surrounding areas.

As Electrical Engineer, you'll be responsible for planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across a range of electrical systems, ensuring building services remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.
