As an Electrical Engineer you will work on major infrastructure projects, ensuring electrical systems design and integration across the project lifecycle from concept to commissioning.
Role Overview
- Prepare electrical engineering designs for water treatment equipment, including Motor Control Centres, LV distribution systems, cabling, instrumentation, industrial networks, PLCs, and SCADA.
- Apply relevant design standards, client and WIMES standards, and legislation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary design team to deliver designs on programme and budget.
- Produce technical specifications and schedules for procurement activities, review supplier tender bids and technical submissions.
- Produce URS for control systems, review supplier FDS, attend factory acceptance tests.
- Review existing installed systems to be interfaced, via site visits, drawings and reports.
- Engage positively with the client, manage relationships and support them to achieve their aims.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Working towards IEng/CEng with a relevant Engineering Institution.
- Excellent communication skills with team members and stakeholders.
- Methodical problem‑solving approach.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region.
