Location: PA

We're seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced production equipment, create detailed electrical schematics, and support critical installations. In this role, you’ll apply your expertise to optimize power usage, write and refine SOPs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement across operations.You’ll also play a key role in training production teams on equipment and process enhancements, driving safety, efficiency, and innovation at every level. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot motion control systems including VFDs and servo motors
• Build and implement PLC-based electrical control systems and industrial automation networks
• Program and maintain control software using HMI interfaces and ladder logic
• Create electrical schematics, technical documentation, and SOPs for production equipment
• Analyze and calculate power requirements for new and existing machinery
• Lead and support equipment installations and automation upgrades
• Train production personnel on best practices and new technologies
• Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to identify and execute process improvements
• Apply 5S and lean manufacturing principles to support a safe, organized, and efficient workspace

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, with 3+ years of relevant engineering experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Proficient in PLC programming, relay logic, and control system troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with motion control systems, including VFDs and servo drive systems
• Familiarity with HMI development and ladder logic programming
• Strong understanding of 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement techniques
• Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical design principles, including blueprint reading and system modeling
• Understanding of raw materials, production processes, and cost optimization strategies in a manufacturing environment
