We're looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to support the design and delivery of electrical packages for UPS and generator projects. This role offers the opportunity to work across project engineering activities, ensuring electrical designs meet project specifications, industry standards and customer expectations.

The Electrical Project Engineer will contribute to engineering processes, design improvements and technical support across projects, with responsibility for maintaining high standards of quality, documentation and delivery.

The Electrical Project Engineer Role:

• Support the Engineering team with the design and delivery of projects and proposals, focusing on electrical packages.
• Provide technical input into the specification and design of UPS and generator systems.
• Take responsibility for the specification and design of electrical packages from project handover through to completion.
• Produce design documentation, method statements, risk assessments, procedures and associated test documentation.
• Prepare technical proposals, submissions, scopes of work and engineering studies.
• Attend Factory Witness Testing for generators and control systems in the UK and Europe alongside client representatives.
• Provide technical documentation required for the completion of project operation and maintenance manuals.
• Support wider departmental activities as required.

Electrical Project Engineer Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 3–5 years’ experience in an Electrical Design Engineer role.
• Experience using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Experience producing electrical design documentation and technical engineering deliverables.
