Job summary

Tiro Associates Ltd is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a luxury vehicle manufacturer in Cheshire. The role focuses on developing health and wellbeing systems, combining electrical/electronic engineering, software, diagnostics and validation to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The contract runs until December 2026, with potential extension. Primarily onsite (35-hour weeks, Mon-Fri) with some project-related travel to Europe.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Experience with electrical/electronic systems in automotive manufacturing.
• Strong fault-finding and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work with software and systems engineers.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the development of advanced health and wellbeing systems and features.
• System testing, validation and fault investigation.
• Root cause analysis and diagnostic activities working alongside software and systems engineers.
• Reviewing requirements and test specifications, executing tests and reporting findings.
• Supporting the full development lifecycle from requirements through to release and ongoing system support.

Experience supporting system function development and software maturity activities. Ability to work effectively with engineering teams and external suppliers. Full UK driving licence.Desirable Experience using CANoe, Vector tools and vehicle diagnostic tools Knowledge of health and wellbeing technologies, occupant monitoring or related vehicle systems.
