Primech Building Services is seeking an Electrical Engineer to implement electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects. You will ensure safety, efficiency and compliance across installations while collaborating with project teams.

The role involves designing, inspecting and validating electrical schemes, with a focus on 3-phase systems, transformers and boiler wiring. A UK driving license is required for site visits.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical systems design and project delivery.
• ECS Gold card is required.
• Testing experience (2391) preferred.
• Fault finding and routine maintenance experience.
• 3-phase and single-phase motors comprehension.
• Containment installation knowledge (tray, basket, ladder, conduit).
• Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
• Full UK driving license for site visits.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing electrical systems for a variety of projects across commercial and industrial sectors. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring that all electrical projects are safe, efficient, and compliant with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports using appropriate design software.
• Collaborate with project managers, other engineering disciplines, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.
• Perform site visits and inspections to assess project requirements and compliance.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in electrical engineering and recommend improvements.

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and design principles.
