The team "Civil & Electrical Engineering" within the "Wind Turbine, Quality, Civil & Electrical Engineering" Department is seeking an experienced Electrical Expert to optimize electrical Balance of Plant (eBoP), including components (e.g., HV/MV transformers, switchgear, cables) and design (including GCC) across projects and portfolios for wind, solar, and storage assets. Responsibilities include: (a) refining design guidelines, standards, and specifications; (b) conducting strategic assessments and evaluations; and (c) supporting ongoing projects. The role provides technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, acting as a recognized authority for complex engineering issues.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Support: Provide 2nd/3rd level support for wind, solar, and storage projects with unique technical challenges related to eBoP. Offer technical advice, root cause analysis, and support during all project phases. Support operational assets and ensure compliance with regional electrical standards and norms.
2. Technical Expertise: Offer insights on protection components, power quality, and control logic.
3. Assessment & Evaluation: Manage prequalification of electrical components, define assessment criteria, analyze supplier input, and review performance and risks. Participate in technical due diligence for partnerships and support tenders and procurement processes related to eBoP.
4. Optimization: Identify and implement technical improvements in eBoP components, systems, and processes. Evaluate impacts on assets, such as LCOE, risks, and value. Develop and promote modular and standardized solutions, and update internal standards to incorporate these optimizations.

Your Profile:

• Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Strong fault-finding and root cause analysis skills
• Experience with protection relays, event recorders, and power quality monitors
• Asset management experience, including operation strategies and design improvements
• Understanding of the business implications of engineering decisions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Teamwork, intercultural awareness, and high engagement
