Yolk Recruitment is representing a Cardiff-based manufacturing organisation seeking a Multiskilled Engineering Technician. You will work hands-on with complex machinery and automation, applying practical engineering skills to improve production capacity.

In this role you’ll investigate faults, support breakdowns, contribute to continuous improvement, and assist with PLC programs and data links. The position offers development opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with machinery and electrical/automation systems.
• Troubleshooting faults and supporting process improvements.
• Familiarity with regulated manufacturing environments; knowledge of process validation and OEE.
• Understanding of PLC systems and fault-finding techniques.
• Proactive, practical, and committed to delivering lasting improvements in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in sectors like medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or food manufacturing is advantageous but not essential.

This is what you'll be doing

As a Process/Engineering Technician, you will:
