Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Cambridge seeks an Electrical Engineer to support reliability, performance, and maintenance of production equipment. This hands-on role offers a competitive salary, Monday–Friday day shifts, and additional earnings via a 1-in-3 on-call rota.

Key duties include planned and reactive electrical maintenance, fault-finding on motors, sensors, and control systems, and ensuring health & safety compliance. On-call rotations provide extra earning potential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, or Multi-Skilled Engineer.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance skills.
• Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, or food production environments.
• Ability to diagnose and repair faults on industrial machinery.
• Good understanding of electrical safety and safe working practices.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.

Responsibilities
