ABMI is known for deep technical knowledge and adaptability across sectors. Our strength lies in choosing focus over breadth. In the UK, we’re applying our nuclear expertise to projects with EDF. This trust has enabled us to expand, and now we’re writing the UK chapter of this story.

We’re committed to delivering tailored engineering solutions that drive results. Our consulting mindset aligns with our partners’ challenges, bringing the right people, tools, and strategies to move projects forward.

Our core values are expertise, integrity, and care for people. Our consultants are at the heart of everything we do.

2 – What You’ll Do

About the Role

As an Electrical Engineer in the nuclear sector, you will coordinate electrical layout studies, propose technical solutions, resolve design issues, and review technical documents. You’ll support execution design activities and address technical queries from site teams.

Key responsibilities :

  • Coordinate activities throughout tendering phases, including clarification meetings, bid assessments, and contract surveillance
  • Organize and lead regular technical and progress meetings with contractors
  • Provide internal reporting to the RD and client, ensuring clear communication on progress, risks, issues, and timelines
  • Manage and track design-related risks; lead the preparation and evaluation of early warnings and variation requests
  • Oversee interfaces between contractor, client, and stakeholders to ensure successful contract delivery
  • Coordinate configuration management activities, including Contract Transfer Sheets, Design Modifications, and Referential Evolution Requests
  • Organize surveillance activities, including drafting the Surveillance Programme Organisation Note and the Annual Surveillance Report
  • Contribute to the resolution of technical issues and queries as they arise

3 – Why Join Us?

At ABMI UK, we combine the strength of a European engineering group with the agility of a human-sized team. Based in Bristol, we offer you the chance to be part of something meaningful from the ground up.
